Connection of the dishwasher, washing machine, or sink.
Connecting other devices to the outlet is not a problem.
Every disposer is equipped with two inputs that can be used to connect a dishwasher, a washer, a coffee maker, or other appliances. One input is directly on the disposer housing and the other is on the waste elbow.
Both holes are sealed from the production so their use is optional. They can be easily pierced with a screwdriver. Based on experience, we connect the dishwasher drain hose to the inlet of the grinding chamber and the overflow hose to the waste elbow. The waste water from the dishwasher flushes through the grinding chamber when draining and keeps it clean. Just make sure to thoroughly crush the residues to prevent them from accumulating in the chamber. Accumulation of waste could cause blockage and subsequent overflow of the sink.
Modern dishwashers fortunately have a water consumption of 10–15 liters per cycle, which a typical sink should be able to handle in case the garbage disposer gets clogged. However, it will certainly be more reliable to keep the disposer clean and the waste flowing.
